I'm copying this message from Montclair Safety and Improvement Council's listserve, which was in response to deterring crime through better lighting and web cams:
I have an independent general contractor who has worked on most of the
houses on our cul-de-sac building/replacing stairways, fences, skylights,
light fixtures, as well as general construction. You can view his web
site at:
www.keyesbuilding.homestead.com Here is a link to a web site about a wireless motion-activated web cam
with flood lights.
http://www.x10.com/promotions/vt38a_ed_2f1_0420.html X-10 has reasonable priced products but the resolution of their web camera
is not the highest. I have used their wireless web cam on an engineering
project and the software they provide online is quite good and advanced.
Fry’s Electronics used to carry some of their products.
