On Wednesday evening (5/12) at about 9 PM our doorbell rang. We were having phone trouble and I thought it was the ATT repaiperson. Instead, it was three young men (teenagers, I think) one at our door and two near the front of our yard. I opened another door- not the one with the doorbell- and surprised them. the two in the yard took off and the one at the door made a lame comment about our yard- "What are you doing? It looks nice." I closed and locked the door and called 911.
We're having work done in the front of our house and the house was dark- they must of thought it was empty and were going to take advantage of the opportunity. The next morning, my husband found that they had unscrewed the bulb in a security light.
Thought I'd pass on the info as a reminder to take precautions.
